GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A case of tuberculosis at a Gwinnett high school has Gwinnett Health Department on alert. Health officials are concerned more people could test positive for the illness.
Officials believe more than 220 people have been exposed because of a case at Discovery High School.
The health department said it has already started testing people earlier in the month.
Officials said the first patient who tested positive for tuberculosis has received treatment and is in recovery.
