Brush fire near Brookhaven elementary school

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - Firefighters in DeKalb County spent the afternoon battling a brush fire near a Brookhaven elementary school.

SKYFOX 5 flew over Woodward Elementary School off Curtis Drive near the intersection of Buford Highway and North Druid Hills Road around 3 p.m. It saw police monitoring the blaze as firefighters worked to contain it. At one point, the fire got close to a nearby baseball field.

DeKalb County Fire said they were not sure of the cause of the fire.

There were no reports of injuries
