Boil water advisory in Hogansville after massive leak
TROUP COUNTY, Ga. - A major water leak in Hogansville has caused a Boil Water Advisory to go into effect, according to Hogansville Police.
The advisory was issued Monday after a tank on Pine Street emptied more than 75,000 gallons of water within minutes.
City employees located the leak, which is 1,000 feet into the woods near Poplar and Goozer streets.
Officials say repairs are in progress.
