WALTON COUNTY, Ga. - A boy battling a terminal illness got an early birthday present thanks to some Walton County firefighters.
Jesseon got to come by the Walton County Fire Rescue, sit in one of the fire trucks and even talk to dispatchers. He told the crew he had always wanted to become a firefighter.
On Friday, Jesseon is celebrating his birthday along with his sister. The soon-to-be 6-year-old boy will be celebrating with firefighters from Walton County and Loganville, who plan to be at his party to help his celebrate. They hope to surprise him with shirts or patches from different agencies in hope of making him “chief of the day” for many different departments.
Firefighters have started using the hashtag #chiefjesseon to help spread the word.
Jesseon will be entering the "Make a wish Foundation" in June.
We want to wish Jesseon a very special happy birthday!
