FULTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A transformation is underway at Banneker High School.
State Superintendent Richard Woods visited the Fulton County School Thursday morning to check out the improvements to the library and classrooms.
Banneker's graduation rate has dramatically increased, along with test scores, and overall student performance.
The state recently removed Banneker from its failing schools' list.
Bannker was also named a Beating The Odds school last year.
