Atlanta veteran given brand new home

ATLANTA - A metro Atlanta veteran was given an incredible gift that she'll never forget this Veteran's Day.

That gift? A new home.

Northwest Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity teamed up with several companies for a dedication ceremony for U.S. Military veteran Jacqueline Williams and to celebrate the completion of her new home.

Williams said that the feeling of having a new space is like no other.

"I really don't know how to say how happy I am," she said.

"I thank everybody – each and everybody that was there for me to help my situation be so great," she said.

Organizers said they were honored to serve their veterans with a new and affordable home.
