Loved ones gathered Tuesday evening to remember a man they said had a huge heart, unforgettable smile and strong faith.

"It infuriates us that his dignity is being compromised by this hit-and-run," said Pastor Danny Iverson of Shalom City Church.  "He died in such an undignified way and we want his life to show this amazing life that God blessed this planet with."

Atlanta police said 23-year-old Quinton Hill was hit while crossing West Lake Avenue at Hasty Place Wednesday,  Friends tell FOX 5, Hill's spinal cord was severed, his brain dead, and lungs collapsed and died two days later at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Dozens gathered to celebrate Hill's life, including his parents and 10 siblings, the youngest just 5-years-old.  Family and friends said Hill was dedicated to his family, community and church.

"He loved to say show me some lovin' and hug and smile," said Hill's aunt, Minister Launette Hayes.  "He was just a good person."

Loved ones said Hill loved martial arts and was one of the first graduates of a jobs development program within his church.  Minister Hayes said her nephew is an organ donor and knowing that he will help others after his death is comforting to the family.

Investigators are now looking for a dark colored 2015-2016 Lincoln MKC with damage to the left side and a missing piece of the left side mirror.

"Just find whoever did this and solve it very peacefully because Quinton wouldn't want any other answer, but to solve it peacefully because he was just a God righteous man and he would serve everyone no matter what," said Hill's sister, Ariel Hill.
