Atlanta Police search for escaped juvenile near I-285

ATLANTA - Police spent Friday evening searching an area near Interstate 285 and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway after a report of an escaped juvenile.

Atlanta Police said the young man escaped custody in the 3400 block of Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy. Officers said he was handcuffed at the time.

Police said the young man had warrants for armed robbery and escaping from a juvenile detention facility.

Officer saturated the area looking for the escaped young man.

His name and description were not immediately available.
