ATLANTA - Temperatures are warming and homeowners in several Atlanta neighborhoods are bracing for illegal street riders.
They are freewheeling drivers of 3-wheeled ATVs, which are banned on all city streets, and motorcyclists who break traffic laws.
The chief of police said there will be stricter enforcement this year because some of the riders have gone too far.
There is a good chance those vehicles will be chained to a tow truck.
The Atlanta Police Department is preparing extra police and state details to watch.
The police helicopter will also be used.
