It's been 19 years since Atlanta hosted a Super Bowl.

Many people thought Atlanta would never host the big game again after an ice storm hit during Super Bowl weekend in 2000.

But it was a dream for Falcons owner Arthur Blank to bring the Super Bowl back to Atlanta.

That's a major reason blank pushed for construction of Mercedes-Benzes Stadium.

Wednesday afternoon, Good Day Atlanta's Buck Lanford talked to blank about making sure we don't wait nearly two decades again for another Super Bowl.

Blank added unlike 19 years ago, there are now major attractions like the Georgia Aquarium and the College Football Hall of Fame, plus thousands of hotel rooms, all within walking distance of the stadium.
