ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Students in Alpharetta let nearly 14,000 ladybugs back into the wild.
The ladybug release was part of Carrington Academy's Earth Day celebration.
Organizers said the students have learned about ladybugs and the role they play in the environment.
Administrators said it's important to start teaching students to care for the environment at a young age.
To add to the fun, teachers, and students dressed up in their best ladybug looks.
After the ladybug release, students went on to make a hummingbird and flower garden using recycled materials.
