A warning about counterfeit goods this holiday season

ATLANTA - And the airport also issues a warning about counterfeit goods, particularly with the holiday shopping season ahead.

During an event Thursday, Customs and Border Patrol agents showed examples of counterfeit goods.

Among the items shown, knockoffs of popular items like designer shoes and handbags as well as high-ticket items like electronics and watches.

Especially popular this year, knockoff Yeti brand cups which officers said can be dangerous.

Customs and Border Patrol agents said the money from selling knockoff goods often funds criminal organizations.
