3-year-old dies after being found unresponsive in bed

A 3-year-old boy had died after being found unresponsive in his bed Saturday morning, according to Hogansville police.

Police say a family member discovered the child unconscious in his bed in the 100 block of Boozer Street in Hogansville. The child was transported to West Georgia Medical Center, where attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.

Police say the boy had been hit in the head by a remote control truck while playing with his younger brother Friday evening. The children's mother was at work when the incident occurred, police said.
