Another suspect arrested in Cartersville shooting case

- Another suspect, in addition to the four previously arrested suspects, was placed into custody in connection with the shooting of a man on Hannon Way, according to the Cartersville Police Department.

Eshaun Green was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, possession of firearm during the commission of a felony, affray, and possession of marijuana, according to police.

The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man shot, according to authorities.

Jordahni Rimpel was arrested a short time later after a coordinated search between Cartersville Police Department, Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cartersville-Bartow Drug Task Force.

Rimpel is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, affray, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to police.

The victim is in stable condition as of early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday night, police charged Cecil Grant Harrish and Kameron Rainer with affray, and James Darns was charged with affray and possession of marijuana, according to police.

Police are still investigating this incident.
