A yearlong investigation called "Operation Breaking Bad" ended with 34 felony arrest warrants for 25 suspects by the Gwinnett County Gang Task Force, according to authorities.

In conjunction with the ATF (U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the operation conducted simultaneous raids at 8 different locations. The investigation targeted numerous gang members and drug dealers selling narcotics and weapons throughout Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta.

“This operation shows the vital impact that law enforcement on the federal, state, and local level can have when we work together to make our communities safer places to live," said Gwinnett County Police Chief Butch Ayers.

The investigation ended on March 28, with suspects charges ranging from possession of marijuana to one suspect being wanted for felony terroristic threats and acts, according to police.

During the operation, numerous firearms were seized and over 1,400 grams of methamphetamine and over 60 grams of heroin were seized.

Police say they are still searching for several suspects wanted in connection with this investigation.
