FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police have released pictures of one of four suspects involved in an armed home invasion in Fulton County that left a man injured.
The man injured in the home invasion, 23-year-old Myquell McCan told FOX 5's Nathalie Pozo that one of the suspects told him he was going to kill him if he did not give them money.
McCan said he met "Jasmine" once in person and they began chatting on social media. McCan said "Jasmine" and a friend came to visit him at his home on Shell Drive in Fulton County Tuesday evening and that is when the attack happened.
"I heard a loud boom and I heard the dogs barking," said McCan. "I came out of my room and I seen [sic] two masked men, one with a shotgun."
McCan said one of the male suspects forced him to strip naked and hit him several times with the shotgun while the other suspects searched the home. McCan said at one point he tried to escape.
"He chased after me and he caught me, hit me in the back of the head again with the shotgun," said McCan. "So I fell down and he started choking me with the shotgun."
Residents in the neighborhood are now on high alert, taking a close look at the pictures Fulton County Police sent FOX 5 of one of the female suspects.
"Scary to know that; that just happened just down the street from me," said John Spruill who has lived in the neighborhood for ten years.
"Be more aware and be more aware of my environment," said another neighbor.
McCan said he hopes the four suspects are caught soon.
"I am hoping they can get them off the street and lock them up before this happens to somebody else," said McCan.
If you have any identifying information about “Jasmine” or the other suspects in this case, investigators ask that you call the Fulton County Police Department.
