DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A five-year-old boy is recovering Monday morning after being shot in the head at a DeKalb County park. Police are calling the shooting accidental and said the boy's step-father pulled the trigger.
The shooting happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. Detectives think Jhakwan Williams, 24, accidentally grazed the boy with what turned out to be a pellet gun. A witness told police Williams tried to stop the boy's sister from playing with the gun.
