Beauty school offers free haircuts to first responders

A beauty school will give first responders free haircuts to thank them for their service.

On September 9, Empire Education Group will offer complimentary haircuts to police officers, firefighters and EMTs. The services will be performed by senior level students, under the supervision of licensed educators, at all Empire student salons.

In a press release, Empire said the gesture is to thank first responders for their help in the fight against domestic violence.
