Veterans Day 2015: Discounts and Freebies

ATLANTA - Veterans Day is all about honoring our brave heroes who keep our country safe every day. Restaurants and stores are offering special discounts and free meals on Wednesday, November 11, for active-duty and retired military service members.  

Veterans: be sure to provide valid proof of military service.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. $11 race to use throughout the day in addition to half off a burger in the Andretti Grill.

Applebee’s: Eat free at any Applebee’s across the U.S. today. Guests can choose from 7 delicious entrées on the Thank You Meal menu.

Arby’s: Free Classic Roast Beef Sandwich.

Atlanta Hawks: 2 FREE tickets for Wednesday night's game vs. New Orleans 

Bonefish Grill: Receive a complimentary Bang Bang Shrimp. All non-military guests can enjoy Bang Bang Shrimp on Veterans Day for just $6.

Bowlmor AMF: FREE bowling nationwide (includes brands such as AMF, Brunswick Bowling, Brunswich Zone and more). For locations click here. 

California Pizza Kitchen: Free Veterans Day lunch or dinner. Offer includes pizza, full-sized salad or a pasta entrée from the special Veterans Day Menu. Plus a non-alcoholic drink of your choice.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill: Enjoy a free appetizer on any day during Veterans Week. No purchase necessary.

Chick-fil-A: Receive one of three offers for free for themselves and each immediate family member: Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Meal (original or grilled), Chick-fil-A Nuggets Meal (8-count) or Chick-fil-A Nuggets Kid’s Meal (4-count). The offer is only valid for dine-in customers in participating Atlanta-area restaurants from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Gordon Biersch: Buckhead location will offer a free appetizer to veterans 

Great Clips: Free haircut. Don’t need a haircut now? Get a haircut card instead that can be used through 12/31/2015.

Hooters: Receive a free meal.

IHOP: From 7 a.m. -7 p.m., Free stack of Red, White, and Blue Pancakes.

IKEA: FREE meal and beverage. Value of free meal up to $9.99.
