Christmas came early for a Navy veteran and his family in need of a car.

Workers with an auto body shop in Bethesda, Maryland fixed up the 2017 Hyundai Sonata and presented it to Josh Lambert.

And the car's trunk was packed with toys for his two young kids.

Lambert suffered a stroke two years ago while on duty in Japan and is still undergoing medical treatments.

A nonprofit group called Luke's Wings nominated Josh to receive the refurbished vehicle.

He says he is very grateful to the people who helped arrange this incredible gift.

"Everyone that put in an ounce of sweat into this car – we can't thank you guys enough," Lanbert said. "You now have a deep part in our hearts and we'll never forget you."
