A Cobb County middle school allows students to throw pies at teachers and administrators but for a good cause.

The Relay For Life team at Barber Middle School held a fundraising event Tuesday to benefit cancer research, education, and community support.

Organizers said for many students and teachers, this is more than just a fun way to help out a charity.

Instead, it is a cause that touches many of the participants personally.

The Cobb County Relay For Life event will be held on Friday, May 11, at Larry Bell Park in Marietta.
