For one afternoon Atlanta's Woodruff Park transformed into "WoodRUFF Bark" as people from all over the city gathered with costumed canines dressed up in everything from "Star Wars" characters to a banana split.

This was the first year the park put on the festival, which included pet trick or treating, music, and more.

The dog costume contest was emceed by TV and radio personality Mara Davis, and judged by artist Kyle Brooks, aka BlackCatTips, City Councilman Kwanza Hall, Atlanta GirlZ Club pet fashionista philanthropists Lucy and Holly, and dog Instagram celebrity Sheepish Addie.

Luna Doodle, the winner of WoodRUFF Bark's Instagram contest, served as the parade's grand marshal.

It looks like everyone had a "howlingly" good time!
