Kids get a visit from Black Panther during Easter party

Two heroes of the Marvel Comics universe were the special guest stars at a Jonesboro Easter celebration.

The Black Panther and Captain America showed up to thrill kids at the Help A Child America Easter Egg Hunter on Saturday.

In addition to the superheroes, the Clayton County family event included games, food, prizes, a bounce house, and, of course, an Easter egg hunt.

"There's a lot of people that's having fun, celebrating with the kids, and doing positive productive things – just keeping smiles on their faces, that's all," Help A Child American President Kendall Brunson said.

Held A Child America is a nonprofit organization that runs afterschool programs in Clayton County, including mentoring and tutoring.
