GSP cadet helps boy's fears of police

A Georgia State Patrol cadet went out of his way to comfort a little boy who was having nightmares about the police.

The Georgia Department of Public Safety shared a touching photo of Cadet Pritchett with the little boy on Facebook.

The boy’s parent shared the following with the Department of Public Safety:

“Cadet Pritchett took the time out to come talk to my son after I shared to him a story about my son having nightmares about the police… he was very kind and now my son says he likes the police...I really feel his interaction with my son tonight will help stop my son nightmares about the police...A lot of Police are stereotyped because of the bad decision certain ones make but all cops aren't the same...I appreciate Cadet Pritchett for taking his time to talk to my son… that has truly made our night.”

Pritchett is set to graduate next month.

“Way to show what a Trooper is Cadet Pritchett,” the Department of Public Safety said.
