Batman visits injured boy with help of police

Everybody loves acts of kindness, whether they're random or not. This one ranks right up there with the best of them. A young boy named Jamon Davis was hurt recently in an incident involving a firearm. And on May 23, he had one of the biggest feel-good gifts: Batman came to surprise him!

If him seeing me and coming to see him, raises his spirits...and make him at least feel better about what happened. And then who knows. Maybe he may model his own life after Batman's mythos."

With the help and support of City of Monroe Police Department, Lt. Darryl Powell, and Dimitri A. Kakavelakis, III, Jamon got some special treats as well as inspiring and encouraging words from Batman.

You shouldn't have to ever have something like that happen to you. But sometimes, ok, bad things happen. But you have to be strong and courageous for your mom. Don't let this get you down, ok? When your foot starts to heal, and you start to feel and me, I'll come back and see you, ok?
