The search is on for the long-lost brother of Judy Elaine Marks, who says she hasn't seen one of her brothers for over 50 years when they were separated at a young age.

Marks was born in 1958, and has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Her family and friends are searching for one of seven siblings, Billy, who Judy has not seen since she was two.

Now she hopes that people on the internet can help her find William "Billy" David Marks. In a post on Facebook, Judy says that she is "in a race against time" to find her brother.

Billy was born on June 28, 1954. They lived in Aragon, Georgia, when Judy was taken away at the age of two. There were seven siblings, and the oldest four were raised by their birth parents.

The youngest three were taken away, and Judy was the youngest of them all. Judy and her brother Nathan Duran marks were adopted together in June of 1961.

Billy, around 8 at the time, went to another family. Their birth parents names were Nancy Doris Fletcher marks and James Edward Marks.

The family says they are looking into different ways of tracking down Billy, but are asking the public to help share their story and find him.
