NEWNAN, Ga. - A rare set of naturally-conceived quadruplets celebrated their first birthday this week!
Last year, on December 16, Kortney and Justin Miller "defied odds" when they welcomed Brandon, Brayden, Bryant and Kenlee at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. The "Miller Quads," three boys and a girl, were delivered at 29 weeks, each weighing only three pounds.
With a one in 700,000 chance, the babies’ mother was the first woman to ever deliver quads at the local hospital.
“We are so excited and blessed to have four healthy babies," Kortney said last December.
One year later, the hospital said the quads are all doing great, crawling, saying "dada," and each child has their own personality.
"Their parents say managing the four siblings is all about teamwork," Piedmont Healthcare said on Facebook.
The hospital said the babies all sleep through the night and have ever since they came home.
"Fun fact: this group goes through a box of diapers each week," the hospital joked.
Piedmont Healthcare threw the quadruplets a birthday party this week to celebrate their special milestone. The hospital then shared a photo of the four siblings each smashing into their own cake, which is a common first birthday tradition.
