Atlanta is honoring the young superhero patients at Children's Healthcare Atlanta Friday for the hospital's annual "Cape Day."

"While some superheroes battle scary villains, at Children's, our superheroes fight something much scarier -- illnesses and injuries that many of us could never imagine," CHOA said online. "But when they wear a cape, nothing is impossible."

For the third year in a row, CHOA is asking Atlanta to celebrate all of its brave patients by wearing a cape and sharing pictures online with the hashtag #CapeDayATL.

Thursday night, ahead of Cape Day, CHOA shared a picture on Facebook of one of its locations lit up in honor of the special day.

"Hope and Will's version of the Bat-Signal is shining on the streets of Atlanta tonight. Rest up sidekicks. Tomorrow is #CapeDayATL," the post said.

How to participate: You can either make your own cape or purchase a cape from CHOA for $20, with all proceeds benefiting Children's. Find out what your superhero name would be here.
