ATLANTA - A mother and son duo practice a healthy lifestyle and team up to create a sweet and savory snack bar for children to enjoy this Valentine's Day.
Lisa Washington is a chef, yoga teacher and lifestyle coach that has been featured on The Food Network's "All-Star Academy," and her son, Julian Bernard, is an entrepreneur specializing in preventative health innovations. He's currently employed with the Gwinnett County School Food and Nutrition Program.
Friday, on Good Day Atlanta, they showed us their healthy snack bar, which included heart-shaped candy apples dipped in white chocolate on one side only, fruit kabobs made with pineapple chunks and berries. Also included in the demonstration were heart shaped do it yourself pizza lettuce wraps made with whole wheat tortillas, simply add pizza sauce, cheese, and fresh veggies.
