Syracuse University suspends use of kiss cam

It's sometimes just as fun as watching the game... the kiss cam, of course! However, one university is kissing the kiss-cam goodbye.

New York's Syracuse University is suspending the use of the popular tradition at all of its sporting events. According to a ticket holder there, the cam, which is typically known for catching those cute moments between couples, is apparently promoting attacks on women. He sent a letter to a local newspaper calling out two instances of fans pressuring women to kiss men, even after indicating they did not want to.

"I was never out to kill the kiss came," said Steve Port, who wrote the letter. "I was out to raise an issue of awareness, to create a discussion about again the spectrum of what's wrong and what's right."

For now, the university says it's suspending the kiss-cam as they look into the situation further.
