Spending Election Day at Atlanta's White House restaurant
ATLANTA - The race to the White House is on...and we're not talking about the one located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Atlanta's White House Restaurant has been a local institution for decades, where people of all political persuasions can gather to find common ground over big plates of hot cakes, French toast, eggs, and grits.
The menu features a "Presidential Breakfast" which includes an 8oz. rib eye steak and eggs, and a "White House Breakfast" including ham, bacon, or sausage. Best of all, the restaurant is open before even the polls are, serving up food between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays, and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken wanted to spend Election Day morning at the White House -- and since nobody trusted him in Washington, D.C., we let him hang out at the White House Restaurant to vote for his own favorite breakfast food!
