Sneak Peek: Punch Bowl Social arrives at The Battery

We’re just more than a week away from the Atlanta Braves 2018 season home opener, and fans planning to spend some time at The Battery Atlanta will have a new place to “get in the game” — especially if the game is bowling, shuffleboard, or ping pong!

Punch Bowl Social Atlanta is set to open at The Battery Atlanta on Saturday, March 24, just days ahead of the Braves home opener against the Phillies on Thursday, March 29. The 25,000-square foot addition to the already-thriving social scene at The Battery includes a restaurant, bar, bowling lanes, bocce court, and board games, among other available activities (and yes, wannabe rock stars…there is karaoke).  Nationally-renowned chef and Georgia favorite Hugh Acheson created the Punch Bowl Social menu, which features diner-inspired dishes including Lobster Bacon Fries and Lil’ Street Tacos, and classic cocktails are mixed behind a 360-degree bar with plenty of screens to watch the Braves and other favorite local sports teams.

This is the first Punch Bowl Social location in the Southeast, by the way, following existing locations in Denver, Detroit, Austin, Portland, and several other major American cities.

Although Punch Bowl Social Atlanta doesn’t open to the public until Saturday at 9 p.m., Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken got a sneak peek Monday morning, taking a live look inside this exciting new addition to Metro Atlanta’s growing food and entertainment scenes.
