Riding Georgia's wine bus to Dahlonega's newest vineyard

It’s already one of the most unique tours in Georgia.  Now, the VIP Southern Tours Wine Bus is adding a brand-new stop to its itinerary, and it’s a place with views that must be seen to be believed.

Kaya Vineyard and Winery is Dahlonega’s newest winery, taking over what used to be Blackstock Vineyards.  Since Blackstock closed in 2012, the property has been completely re-imagined, and now boasts a tasting room with twelve-foot windows and stunning views of the North Georgia plans.  Future plans for Kaya Vineyard and Winery include a hotel, cottages, and event facility.  The winery has also been added to the VIP Southern Wine Tour – which takes passengers on the “Wine Bus” to several North Georgia vineyards for a full day of wine tasting and behind-the-scenes tours.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning on the Wine Bus, and got to explore Kaya Vineyard and Winery, too!  (And yes, there might have been a little wine taste-testing…)
