Radio host gives back with 'Girl Power Outreach'

ATLANTA - Supporting and advocating for women and girls all over the world. It's a mission that's making a difference.

And it's spearheaded by Jae Nash, the host of the syndicated "Girl Power Hour" radio show.

Last month, Nash and her program Girl Power Outreach helped raise donations like hygiene items, art supplies, clothing and more as part of Getaway for a Purpose, an event where women from Atlanta visited Carries Haiti to produce young girls and orphans with supplies.

Nash visited the set of Good Day Atlanta to describe the trip and its impact here in metro Atlanta.
