Race brings 10 straight hours of action to Road Atlanta

- It's a grueling test of endurance that sets racers on a 10-hour tour of Road Atlanta.  And this weekend, fans will pack into Braselton to see which cars -- and which drivers -- have what it takes to cross the finish line.

The 19th annual Petit Le Mans presented by Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort takes place September 28 through October 1 at Road Atlanta in Braselton.  The race was founded back in 1998 by Road Atlanta owner Don Panoz, and has since become the premiere event for the facility.  The four-day event features four classes of cars, as teams from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship compete in a 10-hour endurance race.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning hanging out at Road Atlanta, getting a look at some of these incredible cars as well as chatting with the racers preparing to take the track.
