Museum offers 'out of this world' photography camp

Maybe someday kids will be able to blast into space for summer camp -- but until that happens, an Atlanta museum is giving young men and women about as close a look as possible.

Museum of Design Atlanta is offering several half and full-day summer camps for children ages five to fourteen, including one unique camp devoted to Astrophotography.  MODA partnered with the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics program (Youth Capturing the Colorful Cosmos) to bring the camp here, and it gives campers access to Harvard's telescopes and space images.  The young men and women are then using the data and images to study the universe, learning more about sunspots, the craters of the moon, and the basics of space and astrophysics.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at MODA, analyzing images of space with young campers who might just be the next great space scientists.
