KISS rocker Paul Stanley brings art to Atlanta

You know him as one of the greatest rock frontmen in history, catapulting to stardom as the voice of legendary band KISS.  But Paul Stanley's artistic talents extend far beyond music, something Atlanta audiences will see during a special event at Wentworth Gallery this weekend.

Musician and artist Paul Stanley will appear at Wentworth Gallery at Phipps Plaza on Saturday, June 16 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., meeting fans and showing off some of his visual art.  Stanley says he's been creating art since his childhood, but really rediscovered his passion for painting about two decades ago. Since then, he's become a highly-collected and acclaimed visual artist, and Wentworth Gallery will be presenting a collection of Stanley's works, which include paintings, prints, and hand-painted sculptures, at its locations across the United States.

Of course, Stanley is best-known around the world for his work with KISS, one of the best-selling rock bands in music history and inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Stanley's appearance at Wentworth Gallery at Phipps Plaza is complementary to the public, although RSVPs are suggested and may be made by calling 404-233-0903.

The Gallery is located at 3500 Peachtree Road in Atlanta.
