Hosea Helps prepares to feed thousands on Thanksgiving day

Hosea Helps 47th Thanksgiving Feast of Services is set for Thanksgiving Day.

The event was started by the late Civil rights Icon Rev. Hosea Williams and is now under the leadership of his daughter Elizabeth Omilami. It's one of the largest sit down dinners across the southeast, and  they plan to serve over 40,000 people this year, and are asking for your help.

The organization provides a first class meal along with numerous other services for the Thanksgiving holiday.   Monday on Good Day Atlanta, organizers Elizabeth and Afemo Omilami joined us to discuss the upcoming event.

Hosea Helps 47th Thanksgiving Festival of Services is set for Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center.
