Hollywood Bound American Idol Contestants Visit Good Day Atlanta

ATLANTA - AMERICAN IDOL's farewell season kicked off last night with the first of the two-night premiere featuring auditions in Atlanta.  Albanian-native Lindita, who now lives in Georgia, was the first to raise the eyebrows of the judges, singing her heart out.  Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez, and Keith Urban were impressed with Lindita's performance, and gave her a golden ticket to Hollywood.

Another emotional moment came with married couple Jordan and Alex Sasser.  The Raleigh, NC natives now live in Atlanta and serve as worship leaders while also raising their young daughter.  Both were given the chance to sing for the judges, but only Jordan made it to Hollywood.  The couple appeared on Good Day Atlanta Thursday to talk about how they've "re-grouped," and how excited they are for Jordan's IDOL journey to continue.
