You already know things can get a little competitive within the Good Day Atlanta team, whether we’re talking about pumpkin carving, baking Pecan-inspired dishes, or just hitting the gym for a workout. So it should come as no surprise that even during “the most wonderful time of the year,” we found a way to face off against one another!

Recently, the Good Day gang went head-to-head for our first annual GDA Gingerbread Showdown, during which teams of two competed to decorate the best gingerbread house. With an hour on the clock and a basic kit to work with, the teams did their best to impress judges Terry Sargent (Chef de’ Cuisine at Community Smith in Midtown) and Lasheeda Perry (Executive Pastry Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta). Our teams were judged on creativity, completion, and overall theme – and as you can imagine, it didn’t take long for things to get messy!

So who do you think came up with the best gingerbread house? Was it Paul and Ron (“The Professionals”), Natalie and Joanne (“The Pinterest Pair”), Sharon and Portia (“The Candy Girls”), or Buck and Dana (“Buck, Don’t Fowle It Up!”)? Click the video link to watch and find out!
