Good Day goes golfing at new Smyrna GOLFTEC location

- The weather is warm and the days are long, and for many, that means it’s time to get out on the course for a full round of 18 holes.  But if you’re feeling a little rusty when it come to your swing, some state-of-the-art technology at one local golf club might help tee you up into shape.

Fox Creek Golf Club in Smyrna recently celebrated the grand opening of its new GOLFTEC facility, the third GOLFTEC in Metro Atlanta.  GOLFTEC is a global company dedicated to golf instruction, which means visitors to Fox Creek Golf Club can now get expert instruction and advice thanks to a team of specialists led by manager Curt Sanders, who competed in the 2008 PGA Championship.  The new Fox Creek Golf Club location includes “Motion Measurement Technology,” which GOLFTEC says can help students and instructors work on the swing by seeing simultaneous video and motion measurement.

The new GOLFTEC is located at 1501 Windy Hill Rd. SE, Unit B, in Smyrna, on the Fox Creek Golf Course Driving Range.  Lessons may be booked online and are available for both beginners and seasoned golfers.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken is most definitely a beginner, but has always wanted to at least hold a golf club believably.  So he spent the morning with Curt Sanders getting some lessons and exploring the new GOLFTEC location.
