David Cook brings “Acoustic Tour” to Atlanta: It’s been a full decade since singer-songwriter David Cook shot to superstardom with the release of his chart-topping debut single “The Time of My Life.” But now, the “American Idol” winner is exploring the darker, more complex side of life with his new music and a stripped-down tour which stops in Atlanta tonight.
David Cook’s 2018 Acoustic Tour officially kicked off in St. Louis back in October, and finally makes its way to City Winery Atlanta this evening. The tour coincides with the release of new single “Death Of Me,” and follows the release of his EP CHROMANCE in February. It’s been a busy year for Cook, who made his Broadway debut in April in the Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots and stayed with the show for two limited runs, the second of which wrapped up shortly before the launch of the Acoustic Tour.
David Cook will take the stage at City Winery Atlanta (located at Ponce City Market) this evening at 8:00 p.m. – and doors to the venue open at 6:00 p.m. Tickets range from $24 to $32, and may be purchased by clicking here.
