ATLANTA - Upscale car show “speeds” into Alpharetta’s Avalon: The names are synonymous with luxury and speed: Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce. And this Sunday, some of the world’s most iconic exotic cars will fill the lots at Avalon for an engine-revving event.
Festivals of Speed will set up camp at Alpharetta’s Avalon on October 8th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Founded in 2004, Festivals of Speed produces shows throughout the year which showcase top-of-the-line cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles which appeal to both car enthusiasts and collectors. The show at Avalon will feature vintage and contemporary vehicles from brands including McLaren, Porsche, Ferrari, and Bentley. Admission to the festival is free, although charitable donations will be accepted.
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at Avalon, getting a preview of the event and doing his best to get behind the wheel of an exotic car!
