ATLANTA - BB&T Atlanta Open Brings Tennis Stars to Atlanta: More than 30,000 tennis fans packed Atlantic Station last year for the BB&T Atlanta Open -- and this year's expected to be another grand slam for the popular event.
The very best tennis players in the world will play at the BB&T Atlanta Open, which continues through August 7 at Atlantic Station. The event is the third in the nine-tournament Emirates Airline US Open Series, which culminates with the US Open. Stakes are high in Atlanta, with 2016 prize money totaling at more than $600,000.

Atlanta Home Featured on “The Walking Dead” Hits the Market: For the most part, it reads like a typical real estate listing. But the words “Sheriff Rick slept here” are creating plenty of buzz for a local home that’s up for sale.
Virgent Realty recently listed 817 Cherokee Avenue, a three-bedroom, two-bathroom Victorian home in Atlanta’s Grant Park neighborhood. The home was featured in the pilot episode of the AMC hit series “The Walking Dead,” in which it was used as the home of Sheriff Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln). Because of its appearance in the show, the home is a popular spot for fans, who frequently stop by to take pictures of the house.
