September 14, 2015 - American Idol Final Season call back follow up . Superstar "American Idol" Judges Make Atlanta Stop
It's almost time for "American Idol" to return to FOX -- but not before the show's superstar panel of judges made a stop in Atlanta to hear the local talent for themselves.
This weekend, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. came to Atlanta to listen to the young contestants dreaming of becoming the next American Idol. And the pressure is on for everybody -- this is the 15th and final season for the show, which has produced some of music's biggest superstars, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Georgia's own Phillip Phillips. The judges spent Saturday and Sunday here in Atlanta, listening to the singers who made it through the initial rounds of auditions.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken got the chance to talk to the judges, and hear first-hand what they're looking for this year. For more information click here.
Couture Portraits: Local photographer Nina Parker helps women rediscover their beauty through photos. The session takes women right where they are -- flaws and all -- and gives them a magazine cover girl experience. The concept started when Parker lost a close friend to breast cancer and the family had no *recent* pictures to show at the memorial. She decided then and there she never wanted another women to die without someone capturing the essence and beauty of who she was in life. For more information click here.
