Zoo Atlanta’s Safari Day Camp Offers Unique Opportunity for Kids:  Animal-lovers between the ages of four and 14 are getting a unique chance to go “on safari” this summer, thanks to Zoo Atlanta.

Zoo Atlanta’s Safari Day Camp summer sessions began May 31 and continue through August 5, and include half- and full-day programs for kids.  The Safari Day Camp schedule includes Zoo tours, animal encounters, and various educational games and activities.  This summer, for the first time ever, 60 kids from Title I schools in Atlanta and Fulton County are getting a full week of camp for free, made possible in partnership with VSA Arts of Georgia, Inc.  Along with a free week of camp, these children are also provided with free lunches and rides.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at Zoo Atlanta, going on a safari adventure with some of his newest friends.
