Meet Max: FOX 5 Welcomes New Member to the Team: There’s a lot of excitement around the FOX 5 studios right now, all thanks to a new member of the team who’s really got a nose for news.

FOX 5 will be fostering Max, one of more than a hundred dogs currently in training to become assistants to people in need.  Canine Assistants is a Georgia-based non-profit that trains and places service dogs to people with physical disabilities and other special needs.  The organization was created in 1991 by Jennifer Arnold, and has placed more than 1,500 dogs since that time.  The dogs are raised and trained on a farm in Milton, with much of the work done by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning in Milton, learning more about the work being done by Canine Assistants and getting a first-look at our very own Max!
