Good Day Atlanta August 11, 2016

Former "Idol" Returns To Atlanta In Broadway Hit::  More than a decade ago, Tamyra Gray was a favorite to win the very first season of the FOX hit "American Idol."  Although she didn't take the title, she's been busy ever since, including taking a role in the Broadway touring company of the recent hit musical If/Then.

If/Then is onstage at Atlanta's Fox Theatre August 9 through August 14, finishing out the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta season.  The musical takes place in New York, and focuses on a woman and the two possible paths her like could take.  Along with Georgia State University alum Gray (in the role of Kate), Broadway veteran Anthony Rapp of Rent also stars in the production.  Rapp originated the role of Lucas in the Broadway production of If/Then.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at the Fox Theatre, chatting with the cast of this exciting musical production.
