Bloomingdale's has an accidental giveaway

A glitch last week led Bloomingdale's to mistakenly issue as much as $25,000 in store credit to some customers.

It was part of the loyalty program. 

At least one shopper took advantage, buying diamond earrings, a watch and a Louis Vuitton bag before store officials caught on. 

Bloomingdale's has asked anyone who made purchases with the cards to return the merchandise.
