It's one of the most stunning properties in North Georgia, with nearly 300 acres including ponds, bridges, waterfalls, and hundreds of varieties of plants. Now, this local treasure is celebrating the beauty and tradition of another place, thousands of miles away.
Gibbs Gardens presents the Japanese Arts and Culture Festival October 17-18 and 24-25. Gibbs Gardens, located in Ball Ground, includes one of the largest Japanese Gardens in the nation, and the festival will augment its own 2,000 Japanese maples with traditional food, dance, and activities from the country. Those activities include Japanese archery and the experience of a tea ceremony.
